Chateau Tanunda rings in a new era for 2017

Senior Winemaker Neville Rowe and GM Michelle Geber rang the historic bell to launch the 2017 vintage. With a "sexy" winery upgrade worth more than $1 million, Chateau Tanunda had plenty to celebrate. "It's so exciting to have this amazing new winery to launch our 2017 vintage 127 years on", said Michelle, just months after taking over the reigns from her father, John Geber.

The entire Chateau Tanunda team gathered to toast the occasion. It's a project that's been 12 years in the making and will provide senior winemaker Neville with the precious resource of time.

A "marvelous" new addition to the portfolio

Marvelous Wines proudly unveiled it's 2016 Rosé to wide acclaim from the industry. With an appearance of antique burnished copper foil on pink paper, the label accurately reflects the character of the wine, while extending the Marvelous brand into a hot new market.

Characterized by savory herbal notes of dried oregano and a bracing note of fresh sea-spray, there's an earthiness and depth to the aroma profile. The fresh palate exhibits subtle fruit aromas of air-dried apple rings and hints of sweet, ripe Roma tomatoes.
